Dr. Shivang Patel is an academician and researcher in the field of Computer Science with over 19 years of teaching, research, and academic administration experience. He is currently serving as an Associate Professor in Computer Science at the Centre for Distance and Online Learning, Gujarat University. His areas of expertise include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Image Processing, Cyber Security, Digital Forensic, and Educational Technologies. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Applications with research focused on deep learning–based medical image analysis. Dr. Patel has published research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences, including Springer-indexed publications. He has contributed to curriculum development, self-learning materials, MOOCs, and ERP implementation in higher education. He has also authored and reviewed academic books for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Dr. Patel actively coordinates research workshops, faculty development programmes, and technology-driven academic initiatives.
