Professional Biography

Dr. Khushbu Priyadarshi is an Assistant Director at the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Gujarat University. She has earned a degree of B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Microbiology and a Ph.D. in Biotechnology, specializing in Cancer Biology. She has extensive teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has previously served as an Assistant Professor and Executive Trainer, teaching courses in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Genetics, Immunology, Cell and Cancer Biology, and Genetic Engineering. She has previously served as an Assistant Professor and Executive Trainer teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Genetics, Immunology, Cell and Cancer Biology, Genetic Engineering across reputed institutions in Gujarat. Her research focuses on anticancer drug delivery systems, Drug resistance and Nanoparticle-based therapeutics. Dr.Khushbu has actively contributed to curriculum development, NAAC documentation, student mentoring, laboratory establishment, academic administration and quality assurance in higher education. She is a recipient of research fellowships and travel awards and has actively participated in national and international conferences. Dr.Khushbu has expertise in science outreach and capacity building, delivering expert talks, organizing academic events and mentoring students in innovation competitions. Dr.Khushbu is a professional member of Vigyan Gurjari (Vijnana Bharti – Gujarat Prant, Swadeshi Science Movement of Gujarat). She delivered expert talks under the Vigyan Gurjari World Record initiatives, including “Indian Science and Indian Scientists’ Contribution at the Global Level” (2024), where over 660 professors reached 70,000+ students across Gujarat, and “Cancer: Awareness and Treatment” (2023), delivered alongside 300+ experts statewide. Dr. Priyadarshi is a professional member of Vigyan Gurjari (Vijnana Bharti – Gujarat Prant) and is a World Record holder for expert lectures on topics including “Indian Science and Indian Scientists- Contribution at the Global Level” (2024), where over 660 professors reached 70,000+ students across Gujarat, and “Cancer: Awareness and Treatment” (2023), delivered alongside 300+ experts statewide.
